Torq24 – Terms and Conditions

It is your obligation to ensure that these Terms and Conditions have been read and understood as ALL services carried out by Torq24 are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

By requesting a quotation or booking a service with Torq24 (via phone, WhatsApp, email, or website and in-person), you acknowledge that you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. All correspondence may be recorded for quality and security purposes.

 

1. Nature of Service

Torq24 provides vehicle transportation services, including but not limited to:

  • Door-to-door vehicle transport

  • Dealership vehicle delivery

  • Interprovincial vehicle relocation

  • Non-runner vehicle transport (where agreed)

The terms “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Torq24.
The term “you” refers to the customer or vehicle owner.

2. Quotation

2.1 All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
2.2 The quotation is based on the information provided by you (vehicle type, condition, pickup and delivery locations, dates).
2.3 We reserve the right to amend the quotation if:

  • The vehicle size or condition differs from what was declared

  • The vehicle is a non-runner and was not disclosed

  • Access roads are unsuitable for our trailer

  • There are route changes, fuel increases, toll increases, or unexpected delays beyond our control

  • Loading requires special equipment

2.4 The quotation does not automatically include comprehensive insurance unless specifically stated in writing.

 

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 A deposit (usually 50%) is required to confirm your booking.
3.2 The balance must be paid before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 All deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of scheduled collection.
3.4 100% cancellation fee may apply for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.

We reserve the right to refuse collection or delivery if payment terms are not met.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate vehicle details

  • Ensuring the vehicle is legally owned by you or you have authorization to transport it

  • Removing all personal belongings from the vehicle

  • Ensuring the vehicle has no loose parts

  • Informing us if the vehicle is a non-runner

  • Ensuring fuel level is no more than ¼ tank

Torq24 will not be responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.

5. Goods Not Allowed

We do not transport:

  • Illegal or stolen vehicles

  • Vehicles containing hazardous materials

  • Vehicles loaded with household goods or personal cargo

  • Firearms, explosives, or restricted materials

 

6. Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic

  • Road closures

  • Weather conditions

  • Mechanical breakdowns

  • Law enforcement inspections

  • Events beyond our control

We will, however, communicate and update you accordingly.

7. Liability & Damage

7.1 A vehicle condition report (if applicable) will be completed at collection.
7.2 Claims for visible damage must be noted at delivery.
7.3 Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
7.4 Torq24’s liability is limited to the coverage stated in your quotation or insurance agreement.

We are not liable for:

  • Minor stone chips, scratches, or dents due to normal road conditions

  • Mechanical or electrical faults

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Loss of personal belongings inside the vehicle

 

8. Insurance

Basic Goods-in-Transit (GIT) cover may apply as per agreement.
Full comprehensive cover must be requested and paid for in advance.

Failure to declare vehicle value may limit claim payouts.

9. Right of Lien

Torq24 reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until full payment has been received.

Storage charges may apply if delivery is delayed due to customer unavailability.

10. Subcontracting

Torq24 reserves the right to subcontract transport services to approved and trusted transport partners when necessary. These Terms & Conditions will still apply.

11. Access & Loading Conditions

The customer must ensure:

  • Safe and legal access for loading and offloading

  • Adequate space for trailer maneuvering

  • No obstruction at collection or delivery point

Additional fees may apply if access is restricted.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming your booking, you automatically accept these Terms & Conditions.
